Before CORRECTIV Simon worked for 16 years for Bertelsmann. He studied Economics and Business Administration in Kassel, London and Cape Town and worked in Sydney and Seoul. During his career at Gruner+Jahr, the magazine publishing division of Bertelsmann, he was Publisher and Managing Director of various well-known media brands and magazines. In addition to his job at Gruner+Jahr, he became part of the board of trustees of CORRECTIV and later he joined the team in his current position. CORRECTIV is a non-profit, multiple award-winning, independent newsroom. In addition to its investigative journalism, CORRECTIV fights against false information, promoting media literacy and initiate educational programs.
